Who runs Elder Grove B&B?

New owners: Andrea and Giles 21st March 2025
We met in Langdale 30 years ago and for over 20 years, have perfected our crafts in both the care and hospitality sectors. We have five children together and our family is excited to be part of the Elder Grove community. Andrea will be hosting in the breakfast room, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome, while Giles, a chef with over 25 years of experience, will be cooking up a delicious breakfast in the kitchen to kickstart your day. We feel very privileged to take on the responsibility of maintaining the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Elder Grove so special. We are committed to preserving Elder Grove’s legacy of being a fantastic B&B, where guests feel at home and can enjoy the very best of Ambleside and the Lake District.

When was Elder Grove built?

The building is Victorian and built in the late 1800s. We are proud that it still contains many original features.
