Thank you for a lovely stay at Elder grove. We were very impressed by the quality & standard of the accommodation and facilities (lovely bar and lounge areas). They are as good as a 1st class hotel with the added advantage of a more personal and homely feel. The breakfast was superb (loved the home made bread). We would have no hesitation in recommending Elder Grove and, indeed, Ambleside to any friends who are thinking of visiting the Lakes. We shall certainly visit again, possibly next Spring. 	Thanks for the great weekend-we will definitely be back. Breakfast choice 2nd to non - you do a mean bacon sarnie! Hotel/rooms very nice and spotlessly clean. New bar is very trendy. Everything was absolutely first class and could not be bettered in any top notch hotel. Add to that the perfect weather-what more could anyone want! Helena and David Cameron There are plenty of B&B's in Ambleside and as we are a frequent visitors, we've tried a lot of them but what sets Elder Grove apart is the little extras and attention to detail. A lot of thought has obviously gone into the running of the B&B from booking the room, to using local produce for the breakfasts, to the clean tidy rooms to the departure itself We'll stay here again.
