When your looking for something a little special we have 2  large double rooms to offer. Both rooms are graced with the traditional Victorian high ceilings and bay windows giving plenty of  floor space, situated on the 1st floor at the front of the house, with a glimpse of Wansfell pike from the windows.   Room 4 is a little more  traditional with a Victorian half tester canopy bed ( 4ft 6 double bed) comfy leather chairs and coffee table, well appointed furniture offering ample storage.  Room 5  has a more contemporary four poster bed (4ft 6 double bed)  and  a sofa  for relaxing  during the day . Both the rooms have flat screen digital T.V's with DVD players (please bring your own films), hot drinks trays, hairdryers and information folders.

Room 4 we keep  special for those without children, Room 5 has a sofa bed which can be used for  children over 5 or as a twin room for 2 adults.

New for 2012 we have upgrade more rooms and now also have on offer:

2 rooms  with king size beds - both rooms are  comfortable sized rooms with space to move around the bed, room 6 is on the 1st floor at the back with a brass  headboard  and oak furniture, consisting of a wardrobe, dressing table and bedside cabinets and two chairs.  Room 11 is on the top floor at the back of the house and  with the ceiling sloping it gives  this room a cosy feel, from the window  you can look  out towards Todd Cragg, with wardrobe, dressing table ad chests of draws there is plenty of storage space.

We have 2 rooms with zip and link beds offering a combination of twin beds or  a king size double bed (these combinations must be booked prior to arrival). Room 3 on the 1st floor at the back is a spacious room with views over Ambleside and Loughrigg fell, the oak furniture gives the room a modern yet elegant feel. Room 8 on the top floor at the back of the house offers the best view from Elder Grove across Ambleside and the surrounding fells, a good size room with sloping ceiling  and decorated in warm colours gives this room has a lovely cosy feel, the oak furniture keeps the room light and definitely our most requested room in the house.

All the rooms are en suite and  have good sized bathrooms  with  long baths and powerful showers and plenty of hot water,   bath sheets and hand towels and complimentary 'pure lakes' shower gel, hand wash and body lotion.

To keep these rooms allergy free we do not accept pets in these rooms, they all have fiber filled bedding, please let us know of any allergies prior to arrival so we can help make your stay as comfortable as possible.
